A virtual race during these strange times, to raise funds for Peak House – an excellent recovery program for youth

You’ve heard of a biathlon and triathlon, I’m proposing a Briathlon! Combo of activities for mental and physical fitness that I’m passionate about.

I’m turning 48, so I’m suggesting a combo of 48k. I’ll be hosting a 9am meditation that I’ll lead online, then we each independently do a 24k bike ride, then a 24k run, ending with an ocean dip for 24 seconds. You are welcome to join me on those distances in your home community.

But don’t let the distances intimidate you! Participants are free to make their own combo of activities. Maybe you move a decimal and your distance is 4.8k. Maybe you form a relay team for each activity. The point is to raise money for a good cause, and to give us something to train towards to support our wellness.

The goal is 48 participants, $4800 for Peak House.
