Time and time again in couples counselling, I hear the same thing from women: my partner isn’t curious about my inner life. He doesn’t ask.
As men, most of us were taught to lead with answers, not questions. To project confidence, not curiosity. To do “show and tell”: here’s what I did, here’s what I think, here’s where we’re going.
But the men I work with? Most of them actually want something different. They want relationships that go deeper. They want to really know their partner, and be known themselves. They just weren’t given a map.
Ask Her is that map.
What is Ask Her?
Ask Her is a 5-week, 10-hour online group program for men in relationships who want to strengthen their connection with their partner, by developing one of the most underrated relationship skills there is: asking powerful questions.
It’s a structured, supportive space where men come together to learn, practise, and get honest with each other about what’s actually going on in their relationships.
Over five weeks you will:
- Develop your skills at asking powerful, connecting questions
- Connect with other men who want to do relationships differently
- Receive peer support and encouragement in a judgment-free space
- Build relationships with men who share your values
What surprises most participants is how much they open up, and what a difference that makes in their relationships.

About Ask Her
Ask Her was created by Brian Dean Williams, a registered clinical counsellor with 25 years of experience working with men and couples. It grew directly out of his clinical work – out of watching men who genuinely wanted to show up better in their relationships, but who lacked the tools to bridge the gap between intention and action.
The program runs in small groups online, which means you get the accountability and connection of a shared experience, plus the flexibility of joining from wherever you are.
